Introducing Independent Canadian Country Rock Recording Artists ~ Domino

Five distinct musical backgrounds. Five very different personalities. Five lead vocalists. Incredible chemistry. Five diverse people found each other and have created their own sound known as Domino. After over 20 years each, of playing in different bands, in different genres, Chris Scott, Luanne Carl, Russ Carl, Kent Nixon and Scott Mcknight found each other, and started a band. The rest as they say is history.

After playing separately in many different groups this brought an amazing amount of talent and diversity to this group. From a couple of country crooners, to a couple of rockers and an upside down left handed guitar player, Domino has it all, including a female bassist, and vocalist. All five in the band sing lead, and sing everything from Johnny Cash, Tracy Byrd and Gretchen Wilson to The Rolling Stones and The Tragically Hip. Domino is very proud of their original music and love performing it to their live audiences, with incredible results. What makes them different, what makes them stand out in the huge sea of entertainers??… Their five lead singers.  You will never be bored at one of their shows, as the lead singer is always changing, along with the style of music.

They are a favourite in their neck of the woods. The chemistry between them is electric, and what they create together is amazing. Their harmony is second to none, as they all sing, and after listening to them, you can definitely tell they have been inspired by such groups as The Eagles.

But Domino likes to think they have their own unique sound and flavour. Fans young and old love to come out and listen to their music, which is always evident at their shows with the full dance floors, and their sold out CD release show in 2007. Domino also has awesome song writing abilities as well, with four original tracks on their current CD, released under their original name - damnedifiknow - Everything.....under the sun, was released as a stepping stone to show fans and promoters, just how diverse and talented this group of five are. Everything from Chris Isaaks Wicked Game, Neil Young’s Old Man,  and Paul Brandt’s I'm Gonna Fly were covered on this CD. In addition to their four originals, Alone, Pickin Buddy, Hillbilly and Backroads.

Domino has now completed their new CD, ~DIME A DOZEN ~which feature nine new original songs, and three Covers, of some of their most favourite songs, that their fans love as much as they love to perform them. They are very excited to release their first single to radio as of November 30 ,2009 - GOING FOR IT.  The song has already been added to playlists across the country, and they are very excited for 2010 and what the future has to bring.  The CD is on sale now and available for purchase on our website store, CD Baby, and MusicMax.

From picking and singing around the campfire, to rodeo's, festivals, and corporate functions, Domino does it all, and are ready to do it all. This year showcased them at The Greatest Show on Earth, the Calgary Stampede, and Winston Churchill Square in Edmonton. They have a passion for music unlike many, and with such a diverse group, they are sure to please. Who are they? Domino....

People are sure to be falling over for Domino.
